Det længe ventede 9. album fra den super prograssive hiphoppere i The Roots. Grammyvinderne i Roots beskriver selv albummet som "depicting the everyman's search for hope in this dispiriting post-hope zeitgeist".



Første singlen fra albummet er "Dear God 2.0" et rework af det fantastiske Monsters Of Folk nummer "Dear God" featuring Yim Yames fra My Morning Jacket, Conor Oberst og Mike Mogis fra Bright Eyes og M. Ward.



Grammyvinderen John Legend er også med på flere tracks som reworker nogle af hans originale værker. Albummet gæstes også af Joanna Newsom on "Right On," Phonte Coleman (Little Brother, The Foreign Exchange), Blu (Blu & Exile), Peedi Peedi, Mercedes Martinez, Icelandic alt-pop sangeren Patty Crash, newcomeren Sugar Tongue Slim og Roots' Crew members Dice Raw, Truck North og P.O.R.N.
